Q: Do your steering wheels fit my car?
A: Our steering wheels are designed to fit specific makes and models. Please check the product description to ensure fitment. Contact us or DM us on Instagram (@thecarbonguys.store) if you're unsure about colors or compatibility so that we can verify.
Q: Are these real carbon fiber or just a wrap / dip?
A: Our steering wheels are made from 100% real carbon fiber and forged carbon fiber, ensuring durability and a premium feel.
Q: What’s the difference between carbon fiber and forged carbon fiber?
A: Carbon fiber has a uniform weave pattern, while forged carbon fiber has a more random, marble-like texture. Both are lightweight and strong.
Q: What is included in my purchase?
A: You will recieve the carbon fiber steering wheel in the style you chose. Any buttons / paddle shifters that are included in the photos are shown for display only. Customers will be required to transfer over parts from their core steering wheels. These parts may include things like airbags and button controls.
Q: Are these steering wheels new?
A: Our steering wheels are built from used stock steering wheels. All materials(carbon fiber/upholstery) used on these modified steering wheels are new.
Q: Do I need to send in my old steering wheel?
A: All prices include a steering wheel, you can keep your original steering wheel.
Q: How long will my order take?
A: Our steering wheels typically take 7-14 business days after the order is placed to make. After your steering wheel is carefully crafted, It will be shipped out. Please allow up to an additional 7-14 days for shipping, depending on where you are located.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes! We offer international shipping. Rates and delivery times vary based on your location.
Q: Can I track my order?
A: Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email.
Q: Do I need professional installation?
A: We highly recommend professional installation to ensure proper fitment and functionality, especially for airbag transfers.
Q: How do I clean and maintain my carbon fiber steering wheel?
A: Use a soft microfiber cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the carbon fiber finish.
Q: What should I do if my steering wheel arrives damaged?
A: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage, and we'll assist you with a replacement or solution.
Q: Return Policy?
A: Returns are only available for products that are severly damaged or have significant manufacturing defects which render the product unusable. Customers must contact us immediately upon discovering the defect to qualify for a return.
